Hancock County Tourism has initiated a grant process to fulfill our mission of bringing regional, national, and international business and leisure visitors to Hancock County for the economic benefit of the county and our tourism partners. We do this by providing grant funds to not-for-profit and private entities to market, support and enhance their tourism efforts. Please review the Grant Guidelines for information related to Grant application submission and reporting process. There is a two month cycle of application reviews for Tourism Grants, and a post sixty day reporting requirement. The submission schedule and other pertinent information is available on the Grant Guidelines page. You are required to review these grant guidelines and acknowledge that you have in fact read them as part of the grant process. PLEASE do not fail to review the guidelines. This is very important.
The Hancock County Tourism Grant process is entirely automated through online forms. The applicant will complete an online Grant application and attach the necessary supporting documents. Once the application is complete, the applicant will just click on the submit button, and the information will be sent to the Executive Director for initial review. So please be sure that you have all your information ready prior to attempting to complete the form.
The deadline for consideration by the HCTC meeting is clearly defined on the Grant Guidelines. Any grant application received after that time will be considered during the next Grant cycle.
